Suede Saddle Pads - FAQ's

Why choose a LeMieux Suede Saddle Pad?

Our suede saddle pads offer a sleek and professional look to any saddle, providing a protective layer between the saddle and the horse’s back. They help to minimise friction, making them beautifully comfortable and secure under the saddle.

What are the features of a LeMieux Suede Saddle Pad?

Suede is an incredibly hard wearing yet super soft material, offering the perfect balance of comfort and practicality. It’s as luxurious as leather but feels gentle against the horse’s skin. Plus, the bamboo lining wicks away sweat and moisture, keeping your horse at the perfect temperature all year round.

Who are LeMieux Suede Saddle Pads for?

LeMieux suede saddle pads are for horse riders looking for a comfortable, stylish and high-performing pad.

How should you look after a LeMieux Suede Saddle Pad?

Even though suede is a premium material, you can put your saddle pad in the washing machine on a 30-degree cycle. We’d recommend popping it in a wash bag first to protect the material.

Close all fastenings to prevent accidental damage, and make sure the drum’s big enough to fit your pad. Once washed, pull it into the correct shape and air dry away from a heat source. Don’t tumble dry.

How long can you use a LeMieux Suede Saddle Pad?

LeMieux suede saddle pads are crafted for longevity. As a result, your pad will last for years to come. However, due to the nature of suede, your saddle pad will eventually experience wear and tear. Replace it once you notice signs of tarnishing to keep your horse comfortable.
